Type K Electromagnetic Temporiti DC Fail Safe BrakePOWERMECH offers TEMPORITI DC operated electromagnetic spring applied fail-safe brakes Type K. These are made with Italian collaboration and design of Temporiti srl. Temporiti DC operated electromagnetic spring applied fail-safe Type K brakes are normally “ON” type, which means the brake is always on and applied. When a DC voltage is applied to it, the brake releases, thus allowing the shaft on which it is mounted to rotate. In case of no voltage, the brake is applied immediately and the rotating shaft on which the brake is mounted is held immediately. This also forms a safety mechanism in which the load is stopped from being moved in case of no power. This brake can be mounted either on the backside of an electric motor or on any other driven shaft which is to be braked. Body: Cast Iron, Mill Duty type (MDT) Electro Hydraulic Thruster Brake is used to retard the speed of moving machinery and to stop it accurately to the desired position. The breaking force is applied to the brake shoes by a pre—stressed compression spring.

Solid State Brake RectifierEH Series Solid State Rectifier Brake Rectifier / Power converter EH-series brake rectifier is used to supply DC voltage to DC operated brakes on electric motors, where standard release reaction time of the brake is required.The primary application of rectifiers is to derive DC power from an AC supply. This rectifier having capacitor & spark suppressor to protect the diode bridge circuit. Spark suppressor protects the coil and contact against impermissibly high induced voltages during DC switching. In the absence of a suppressor circuit, the induced voltage may exceed the permissible values and cause coil failure.
Rectifiers are available with half wave and full wave rectification. Rectifier can produce normal excitation and over excitation. These rectifiers are compact in size & easy to mount in terminal box or in control panel. Rectifier available with over excitation is used specifically with large DC coils for crane/Hoist brake application. This rectifier mainly used for spring applied electromagnetic brake. Also used for DC electromagnetic brakes, clutches, clutch brake combination. A connection diagram will be furnished with each rectifier or upon request.
